Exploration, discovery and fun prevail at Integral Elementary's two summer theme camps: Cooking Around the World! (6/28/10 to 7/23/10), and Oceans, Islands and Adventures! (7/26/10 to 8/20/10). See below for more details on each camp. Activities include: cultural and historical explorations, cooking, arts & crafts, math and science fun, music & dance, field trips, and meeting new friends!
Integral Elementary is child-centered, innovative, and maintains low student/teacher ratios.
Camps are from 9 AM to 3:30 PM, Mon. – Fri.
(Before/After care is available from 8AM to 5PM, at $5/hr extra.)
$895 for each 4-week session

Cooking Around the World!
June 28 to July 23
Join us on a delicious trip around the world! This summer we will be “traveling” the globe as we explore and celebrate the diverse food and cultures throughout the world. For each continent stop, we will discover the food and cooking methods, music, dance, children’s activities & games, geography, and agricultural. Cooking is a powerful tool to facilitate creativity, imagination, planning & deciding, working together, science, math, and language.
This session will include:
· COOKING
· Complied cookbook to take home with all the recipes for the session
· Journaling
· Edible science experiments
· Food groups
· Agricultural & Geography
· Nutrition and healthy eating
· Where food grows and comes from
· Vocabulary through new words
· Cultural music, dance, and games
· Counting, fractions, sequencing, measuring
· Problem Solving (what happens if something goes wrong)
· Daily arts and crafts
· Trying new foods
· Fieldtrips
Oceans, Islands and Adventures!
July 26 to August 20
Plunge into the depths of the oceans and learn about our underwater world.
Sail away to tropical islands and celebrate the culture with foods, art and dance.
Journey to a beautiful campground and appreciate the greatness of nature.
Fly to a white sand beach and enjoy the fun activities of Summer.
This session will include:
· The study of oceanography
· Science experiments
· Daily arts and crafts
· Hands on activities
· Travel journal and pictures
· Cooking island food and yummy treats
· Learning different dances, sports and games
· Poetry and rhymes
· Mapping and directions
· Wet play & Sand castles
· Weekly field trips
· Child made stories and skits
· Estimation, math skills, dioramas

and specify your camp & date requests.)
